FiniAC continues to receive platform updates, with this announcement covering the release of our new Entity Firewall.
Entity Firewall
Introducing Entity Firewall, a new system we’ve introduced that lets server owners control which entities can spawn on their server.
- The Entity Firewall is a rule based system covering vehicles, peds, and objects, with support for ordered allow and deny rules depending on how server owners want enforcement to behave.
- The system is directly integrated with the
fini entities recordsystem, which lets server owners build firewall rules based on logged data of their server. - It offers more customisability across rule creation and enforcement, including the ability to define a default action and build more specific rules for tighter control.
- A built in simulator is also included, allowing server owners to test how entities would be evaluated against their current firewall rules without needing to do so in game.
We anticipate that this will provide strong protection when utilised correctly against all malicious object and vehicle spawning. We further plan to increase its functionality, allow it to learn from servers more effectively, and make the system more streamlined for rapid deployment.
Misc Update: We have improved site translation coverage across the user panel to ensure full translation support throughout the platform to accommodate our growing international user base.
